George P. Matthews (1858-1929) was an English banjo maker in Birmingham England. Thibouville, Lamy & Co., Rose Morris & Co.) to brand as their own. This banjo comes with a highly engraved resonator by Joseph Riley & Son, another famed British Banjo maker of the late 1800's.
