For Sale: Price Lowered! 1954 RB100 conv. for sale by Ron Stewart
PRICE LOWERED HAVE TO MAKE ROOM!
Hey banjo pickers,
I've got an amazing 1954 Gibson RB100 with an unknown 20 hole Flat Head ring. I got this banjo and the ring was in it, and after dressing the frets which are near new, doing a complete set-up, well, it sounds incredible, so I didn't even take the ring out. This banjo is in excellent condition. Just slight finish wear on the neck in first position, and a scratch here and there, but overall excellent, especially for a 1954! Sound?
Unreal! Absolutely a cannon! You won't find a better banjo. It has a growl, a rattle, and volume! The tuners have been replaced with planetary geared tuners but original knobs from old Eltons, and it has a Waverly tailpiece. It sounded so good I didn't even change the tailpiece! I can put a Presto on if you prefer. It does have a geared 5th peg. Other than that, all original, except ring. These old 100's are getting hard to find, especially in this shape.
$2,950.00 Shipped to you in a new hardshell case, insured in lower 48.
Do not miss this opportunity. It's a monster axe.
You will have to pay a whole lot more to get a banjo this good, and I mean a lot.
