For Sale: **SOLD** 2020 Yates "The Bear" Marc Pruett w/Video

Legendary banjo player Marc Pruett has asked me to help him move some of his personal banjos. Marc has toured and recorded with Balsam Range for many years and before that, Ricky Skaggs, Jimmy Martin and many more. This particular banjo was commissioned by Marc. In 2020 Marc had Warren Yates build this custom banjo from hand-picked parts. The neck is from Honduran mahogany over 100 years old with nearly 70 year old ebony for the fretboard and Keith standard tuners. The rim is a torrefied from Warren Yates and the tone ring is a 20-hole from Jerry Sloan. The curly maple resonator was acquired by Marc from Tom McKinney nearly 30 years ago. "The Bear" in the Mastertone block was chosen to reflect Marc's high school mascot. If you have any questions or desire additional pictures, don't hesitate to ask. Thanks for looking!
