For Sale: Yates RS33 Maple (2009)

Awesome 2009 Yates RS33 (Ron Stewart model - maple) speed neck with updated Yates tone ring (installed in 2012). Includes installed "Mighty D Tuners." This banjo is awesome: loud, has that pre-war "cracking" sound, and its neck has great action.

Frets below 8th replaced earlier this year and those above were dressed. New head in March. Included original Access case (minor marks from use). Wear on various parts of the banjo and some corrosion on the pot that I've tried to clean up, which unfortunately removed some of the "relic-ing" that Warren Yates creates on many of his banjos. Now it is shinier! 5th string pegs on 7, 8, 9, and 10. Dotson 5/8 standard bridge - excellent tone and "attack."

This banjo has been a great pleasure to play and show off at jams due to its tone, volume, playability, and speed neck! It stands up with the pre-wars for a much lesser price! I'm making some hard choices to sell off some banjos.
