OME Silver Phoenix tenor banjo for sale. A lovely 2008 OME chrome-plated and engraved tenor banjo with a Silver Bell tone ring. Radiused and bound fretboard. Engraved tension hoop, engraved armrest, engraved tailpiece, engraved flange. With a hard-to-find matching pick-holder. Beautiful flame maple neck and resonator.
This OME banjo has a 22 1/8 inch scale length, which gives it the power of a 23 inch tenor, with easier fingering. It is a versatile banjo with an authoritative voice for both jazz and Celtic music. Strung with Thomastik-Infeld flat wound strings that virtually eliminate finger noise. Excellent frets. TKL hardshell case.
