For Sale: 1929 Gibson Style 3 w/Prewar Flathead Tone Ring w/Video

This Prewar Gibson Style 3 F.O.N. 9489-25 left the factory around 1929 as a tenor with a 40-hole arch top ring. In 1983 this banjo was fitted with a Prewar high-profile full weight tone ring and has a Genuine RB-3 mahogany neck from 1988. The hardware is original and period correct and with an E2 tension hoop which is not unheard of. This one is extremely responsive with a lot of power and classic flathead tone.
