For Sale: 1930's Gibson Style 00 Conv. w/Video

This Gibson Style 00 left the factory as an MB-00 and has been now converted by Frank Neat to a 5-string using his mahogany neck. Configurations of the Style 00 vary and this one has the 1-piece flange, grooved tension hoop and flat hooks, with the thinner rim. Characteristics of the hardware put it in the mid to late 1930's and the hardware is in great condition. There is a modern armrest and tailpiece provided by Frank. The Style 00 has no tone ring and this one remains uncut with the wood bead on top for the "woody" tone and the banjo only weighs 7 pounds!
