For Sale: 1981 Stelling Staghorn

Note: I will be listing 3 Stelling Staghorns today (March 11)- each from a different 'rim era' (Block, Cooperman, Pass) - as well as a video comparing the 3...They are set up identically with brand new frosted Remos and Sosebee bridges.

This one is a gorgeous example of Stelling's flagship banjo: a 1981 Stelling Staghorn with Geoff's original block rim in wonderful condition. This banjo returned to Geoff in the 2010s for a full refret and then current Schaller tuners. The banjo was put away right after the work was done and shows no fretwear whatsoever. The brightwork looks new. There are quite minor indications of player wear on the back of the gorgeously figured neck but that is the only evidence it was played. It comes with the original hardshell case in nearly mint condition. Plays and sounds just like it should.
