This Prewar Gibson Style 00 has been converted to a 5-string using a fantastic mahogany neck from Bill Hayes with flying eagle inlay. The pot is a Style 00 with a full thickness rim fitted with a Sloan unplated 20-hole tone ring. The resonator was re-skinned by Jimmy Cox to a Style 3 with concentric rings. As you can see in the pictures the reso was changed from a "3-lug" to a "4-lug" which also involves moving L-brackets on the rim. The L-brackets have been swapped more than once. You can see the "export sticker" in the reso and an aftermarket Mastertone label has been added. If you have any questions or desire additional pictures, don't hesitate to ask. Thanks for looking!
