For Sale: 1927 GIBSON TB 5 Five string conversion banjo (expired)

1927 GIBSON TB 5 Five string conversion banjo with no-hole archtop tone ring. Walnut neck and resonator. The 5-string neck was made by Gibson; it was finished and fit to the pot by Ronnie Bales. The pot is 100% original. Style 5 Gibsons are few and far between; evidently they made a lot less of them then the style 6 and Bella Voice models. They are rarer still with the no-hole ring. Overall condition of this one is decent. with the following features:

The 5-string neck was made by Gibson, Gold Engraved, Re-plated and Refinished wood.
Beautiful new copy neck, Original Planet Tuners with Pearl Buttons, Original Deluxe 2-tone gold tailpiece.
Original Gibson Hard-shell case, Includes additional Flat Head conversion tone ring with gold carvings
The pot is 100% original except for the armrest, which looks early and blends in nicely.
This Banjo is in excellent shape. Price is $9,350 with insure shipping

Price: $9,300.00 USD
