Gibson Custom Tenor Banjo in MINT Condition.
Because Gibson was only making 23" scale tenors, the owner decided to purchase a 1931 Granada neck with a 21" scale and 18 frets for the company to use. Plays like butter, easy to reach, and can also be used for Irish tenor. The neck and resonator are bound with Christmas Tree binding (as is the rim, ala 1930 top models), the engraving is 1930 Gibson Florentine, gold plated, 2 piece flange, archtop tone ring, curly maple with Argentine Gray finish, hearts and flowers inlays.
This is the finest tenor banjo I have ever played. It would be the best conversion banjo one could find, too.
