This custom Tim Davis model is a take on the configuration of one of the most famous banjos ever recorded, and in particular, as recorded at Carnegie Hall. In addition, the goal in building this custom banjo was to use ALL AMERICAN manufactured parts, and Tim definitely got the job done! The slim profile neck is mahogany with Hearts and Flowers inlay; CORRECTION-rosewood finger board; Burlile cam tuners; curly maple resonator; Davis 3- ply maple rim; gold plated 20 hole Davis tone ring; all other metal parts are nickel plated, made by Jimmy Cox; Superior hard shell case.
This banjo looks and plays great- but sounds even better! You will not be disappointed in the performance of this Carnegie Hall Tribute banjo.
