This is a 1922 Vega Tubaphone #9 4-String Resonator Tenor Banjo (serial number 46494). Back in their day these were just under the top-of-the-line Vega banjos and were very expensive instruments. The original head was replaced in 2019 because it was torn. This banjo is in good playing condition and comes with a hardshell case.
