1928 Gibson "Pre-War" TB-4 Arch Top Banjo. Serial #9114-11. Mint Condition, all original (except for the banjo head, which was replaced around the mid '90's), original case (with locking key), Rare Presto 5 string tailpiece, tuning pegs replaced in 1994 (original pegs included), string mute, 40-hole tone ring. Great sounding piece of history!
This was our Dad's banjo (WPI '39 EE) and want to make sure it is played and enjoyed and appreciated!!! Case is still in great shape! Some scratches on the resonator, but, none major. No pitting on the chrome metal parts, some "normal" scratches on the armrest. This banjo was built to last 100 years or more (almost there!), and I am sure it will last 100 more PLUS!! Will forward any detailed photos as requested. Any questions and I will answer as best I can! The appraisal value is $3500 - 4000.
$3550, Free Insured Shipping included! $3400 if Picked Up!
