Selling a beautiful Deering Silver Clipper Tony Trishka model banjo.
Ordered and purchased directly from the Deering Factory in the USA, delivered August 2020. Radiused fret board, beautiful quilted maple resonator, intricate inlays on a 24 fret neck, extended over the head. Tuners were ordered in black direct as a personal customisation choice.
This banjo has about 10 months of use, in the house, with about a dozen jam sessions and one gig. The case has never left the house, as I use my flight case, so near perfect condition (had one small scrape at the top, assuming from my other cases rubbing it)
This banjo sounds and plays incredibly well, comfortable and loud, although heavy. Includes upgraded Banjolit arm rest!
I am only selling as I have my eye on something else, and this banjo hasn't left the case in over a year. (I am throwing in some fresh strings because of this - 11s)
The banjo is very clean, with only your average head wear. The only alteration, is a small part in the resonator sanded down to fit a pick up (NOT INCLUDED) I planned to stain this to match, but it's not very noticeable.
RRP is £4380 I am looking for £3299, not wishing to ship, but can for a price.
