This late 30's Style 1 with F.O.N. 1259-1 at some point was converted with Granada in mind. The banjo was gold plated over the nickel and shows wear here and there. A post-war pot metal 5-string tension hoop was used and a the armrest has been engraved Granada style along with a clamshell tailpiece. The tone ring is a 20-hole from Jerry Sloan's latest batch. I believe the curly maple neck to be a Hatfield but not sure. It's a great neck with a great profile and it has Keith D-tuners. The resonator at some point has been refinished. This banjo has plenty of prewar tone as you can hear in the video. If you have any questions or desire additional pictures, don't hesitate to ask.
