2001 Gibson Earl Scruggs Golden Deluxe in perfect, like new condition. This is a Granada with different inlays and an ebony fretboard in place of a rosewood one that's on the Granadas. The label reads 'Custom' and there's a story behind it passed down from a previous owner. A Gibson executive opted to pick the parts of a banjo and receive it as a bonus/incentive at work. He chose the finish, resonator, neck, etc. and later decided that he would sell the banjo through the Janet Davis Music Company. Anyway that's how it came to be a 'Custom'
You'll never see another Scruggs Golden Deluxe label read Custom on it. Very rare. Original hardcase in perfect shape as well, blemish free. $6,500.00 firm cash preferred in person pickup. I don't trust these shipping companies as I've seen them destroy instruments in the past ..
