Description

This is a gorgeous and early Stelling Golden Cross that was made in Walnut. This features a Cross inlaid in Wood in the Back of the resonator and other upgraded features like checkerboard purfling. This is a gorgeous work of art and Stelling Banjos have become highly coveted and collectible.

This has a Walnut neck and Resonator with an Ebony Fretboard. The fretboard is inlaid with abalone pearl and is gorgeous. This has white binding and purfling on each side of the neck and resonator. I mentioned there is also a wooden cross inlaid in the resonator which is gorgeous.

This has nickel hardware which is all original. This includes the Stelling One Piece Ribbon Flange and Stelling No Hole Tone Ring.

This is a fantastic example of a Stelling Banjo and is all original other then an abalone truss rod cover which is a huge upgrade. This even has the original head and bridge and original case!!!

Condition and Set Up

This is in fantastic shape and has been professionally cleaned at our shop. All of the hardware has been disassembled and polished to a shine. The finish on the wood is in excellent shape as well and has been waxed to a shine. The frets and fretboard are basically perfect and this has spikes at frets 7,9 and 10. Even the case is gorgeous.

This has the original Stelling Head and Bridge and has new Huber strings. This banjo is complete and set up and ready to go!!!!
