This is a superb one piece flange Style 2 with a powerful pre-war sound. This banjo has the pre-war shell with a walnut resonator. The neck is a mahogany Frank Neat neck with a Rosewood fretboard featuring a Flying Eagle inlay. The tone ring is a Huber and the banjo comes with a letter of authenticity from Jim as well (banjo was previously sold by Jim Mills). This banjo has the original pre-war grover pancake tuners. Includes a hardship case, the original tenor case and tenor neck, and original pre-war hoop.
