For Sale or Trade: ON HOLD 1927 Gibson TB-3 Conversion - Wyatt Fawley Neck |
|
This is a beautiful 1927 no-hole raised-head tonering that has a maple diamond inlay neck made by Wyatt Fawley (with vintage style small fretwire) and a refinished resonator done by Wyatt as well. This banjo sports Schaller tuners and a Gotoh 5th with a matching set of prewar ivoroid buttons as well as a pre-epa Remo. The metal parts are all original with the possible exception of a few nuts. The banjo also sports an original 5 string Presto (which has some solder underneath). There is no discernible fretwear and the banjo shows very little wear of any kind. Plays and sounds fantastic. Comes in a 1970s hardshell case in excellent condition.
