These banjos sell for almost $6000 new. Very clean Golden Wreath Mahogany banjo. Nice tone and volume. Kriston plays one for the GRASCALS.
This one has been completely cleaned and polished. New medium crown remo head, New 656 roasted red maple Tim purcell bridge, and Vega 700 light strings. Keith D tuners, RR spikes at 7,8,9,10. Fresh setup and the action is low .
Very little fret wear on 2nd and 3rd fret area.
Original case that had signs of wear with one latch missing the buckle. Inside of case though is healthy and protects well. Some very light wear shows on the arm rest. One little spot on top of peghead that looks like clearcoat blemish. All and all this one is nice. It doesn't get played much so its time to let go. Almost forgot to say that the grain in the mahogany is some of the best looking in my opinion.
