This is a Frank Neat banjo made in 1995. The flange is stamped Gibson not sure if tension hoop is. You’d be hard pressed to find a nicer banjo 31 years old. I installed Gotoh tuners with ivoroid buttons, and also a Ceres gold 20 tone ring which sounds great in this walnut banjo. Spikes at the 7,8,9,10 positions. Comes in a practical new Ameritage banjo case. The tone rung was fitted by John Boulding, which is a perfect slip fit. A new head was also installed. I’ve played this banjo on a few shows, it really plays and sounds great.
