Selling my 2023 Calico - barely played, and kept in a smoke-free, humidity-controlled home. This is a true mint, 9.9/10, no stories, no issues.
This is Deering's first Upperline model with the two big upgrades: tapered resonator walls for projection and glued-in frets for easy future refret without chipping the board. It's the sweet spot in the Deering line.
Condition: Mint. No dings, dents, scratches, or buckle rash. Frets show zero wear. Head is clean, hardware is perfect. Ebony board, MOP inlays, everything flawless. All original, never modified or repaired.
Sound: Exactly what a Calico is known for - crisp, bell-like highs with a distinctive, round bass. Very responsive and "poppy" with perfect note separation string-to-string and all the way up the neck. Light touch gives you shimmer, hard driving gives you power. Mics incredibly well for recording.
