The Mulheron Open-back 12" banjo is a high-quality one of a kind instrument. Handmade in North Carolina, the banjo uses a dobson tone ring paired with a brass ring much like a dobson special. I had this custom made in 2024, but due to changing life circumstances I need to downsize my instrument collection. These banjos are absolutely stunning in look, feel, tone, and playability. No other banjo on the market produces the overall vibe of a Mulheron. 12” pot, 25.5” neck, 26 brackets, scoop at the 15th fret, unique tone damper for adjusting overtones and head resonance.
