Is 2001 Gibson Earl Scruggs remains in fantastic condition. The Earl Scruggs model was first introduced at Gibson in 1984 and was revamped in 1989. Since that time this model has been one of the greatest selling banjos from Gibson until production ceased in 2010. The Scruggs model features a beautiful curly maple neck with an ebony fretboard and hearts and flowers inlay. The resonator is also curly maple with the sunburst finish. This banjo is all original including its “Gibson USA” Kulesh tone ring. 5th string spikes are installed and it is ready to go. If you have any questions or desire additional pictures, don’t hesitate to ask. Thanks for looking.
