For sale, a 2020 (or 2021) Ome Ikon. Made in Boulder. This is a special one.

The Ome Ikon was the last banjo Chuck designed for Ome (and FWIW he told me it was his "favorite bluegrass Ome"). This one is in black walnut with antiqued brass hardware, Chuck told me he made fewer than six of these. It was designed to be a modern bluegrass banjo, a "Noam/Bela killer," if you will. It is 1.34” wide at the nut with a 10” radiused fingerboard. The neck is fitted for a 0.75” tall bridge, and the Mastertone-style pot has an Ome Megatone 200 flathead tone ring, one-piece flange, and resonator. Tung-oil varnish finish and jumbo EVO frets, Ome wooden armrest, and a molded TKL hardshell case.

Needless to say, it plays and sounds (and looks) incredible.

I have a few different bridges for this banjo, it's pictured here with a bridge from Rick Sampson. I've included some close up shots from the banjo's original listing back in 2020-2021, you can see more at banjostudio.com/products/ome-i...tone-ring

Thanks!
