- Fairly rare! This is from Geoff Stelling’s California workshop era and they didn’t make too many of these. Serial Number 842. Make on September 2nd, 1978.
- Plays absolutely beautifully. Solid, punchy, and even. I had it professionally set up recently and they barely had to do anything. While it’s a well-worn banjo from a lifetime of playing, it’s a ready to go workhorse.
- Ebonol fingerboard! Very cool and sought after.
- I got it from a wonderful Native American melodic banjo player from the East coast who was a Vietnam vet and cool dude.
- It’s all-original **including the case**. The case is very beat up, but it’s the original! I figured someone might want the original.
- Really nice smooth tuners and spikes on the 5th string for both the A position and B position, which is awful handy.
- Comes with a bunch of packs of the perfect strings for it.
- Pick up installed and ready to go, but removable if you'd like.
