Here is a rare 1963 Epiphone EB-88 Banjo With a Epiphone Case. These were made by Gibson in Kalamazoo right beside of Gibson Mastertone banjos. This is the more scarce early model that does have the Bowtie style headstock,super clean, it is in complete factory original condition with the exception of a new Remo USA head, 5/8 Bridge, new GHS JD Crowe Stage Strings. Presto Tailpiece,It has had upgraded tuners which are far superior to the originals, spikes at 7th and 9th frets. It does feature it's original larger guitar size frets which plays so good. Features the early three ply brown rim with a 19 hole original Cooper flat head tone ring. Bluegrass musician Ron Stewart has been known to play these, it's a very powerful banjo that plays easy and has a classic sweet mahogany Mastertone sound.
