For Sale: "Gibson" RB-6 style (walnut, Huber engineered rim and HR-30 ring)

This "Gibson" is basically a reproduction of a gold sparkle 6/Royal P-T style banjo but with a uniform dark finish rather than Argentine grey, and what appears to be walnut rather than curly maple; it's built around a Huber Engineered Rim and HR-30 tone ring. The hardware is gold-plated and beautifully engraved in the style 6/Royal P-T pattern; the tailpiece is a two-hump engraved "DeLuxe". The flange is one-piece rather than the two-piece normally seen on a prewar original. The resonator and neck feature gold sparkle binding and the fingerboard and peghead are inlaid in the correct "modified hearts and flowers" pattern. I don't know who made the neck, but it's a beauty. The tuners are engraved and marked "Gibson". There's a crack in the fourth-string tuner button, but it's still perfectly functional; there are three small screw holes in the side of the neck from a removed sliding fifth-string capo. The capo is included with the banjo if you want it; I took it off because I didn't like looking at it. Otherwise this banjo is in extremely clean condition with just the slightest evidence of use on the lower frets. What might look like scratches in the resonator are just reflections. Most importantly, it sounds phenomenal, as I hope the attached video will attest. This one comes in a Superior case and is $4,750 including insured shipping to the lower 48.
